The Government of Bermuda, Ministry of Youth, Social Development and Seniors and the Office of Youth Affairs in collaboration with Bar Council recognizes the need for a Free Legal Advice Clinics to be scheduled to assist members of the public with obtaining free legal advice.
This collaboration has been going on for many many years. All Barristers & Attorneys in attendance have been issued licences to practice law in this jurisdiction. This Clinic runs on most Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with doors opening at 5 p.m. Please note that this service is offered on a first come first served basis with 15 minutes allotted per person. Everyone must sign in.
Free General Legal Advice over the phone arrangement for Seniors only (15 Minutes)
Seniors are invited to utilize this service as members of the legal fraternity will answer the call for assistance by providing 15 minutes of Free Legal Advice over the phone. Should a senior wish to speak with a licenced lawyer, please email bdabar@bdabar.bm and provide a brief overview on the nature of your legal question along with your name and telephone number. If there are other parties involved, please provide the name along with the name of their lawyer or law firm (for conflict purposes). Alternatively, you may call the Bar Office at 295-4540 to provide these details over the phone. Please allow up to 4 days for a lawyer to be secured and kindly keep to one enquiry so that every senior in Bermuda in need is serviced.

Senior Property Associate William Warnock is available every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month for 20-minute slot(s) by appointment only between 9:30 am and 12:30 pm. William can answer questions on Conveyancing, Encroachments, and all other property related disputes. **The property clinic will not be advising on landlord/tenancy matters.
